No matter where you live in Vermont or Quebec, Evelyn's in St. Albans is worth the trip. Evelyn herself is an amazing pastry chef--certainly one of Vermont's best...and she doesn't stop at just pastries but does pates, appetizers, soups...and two wonderful sandwiches. The shop is tiny so she specializes in smaller assortments, but each and every item is delicious. She certainly is the go-to place for birthday cakes--from large to small.
Very good, trust me... you will not be disappointed.

Stopped in for the first time and got fresh chocolate chip cookies, rosemary/lemon bars, and a chocolate cappuccino brownie. They were absolutely insane! I encourage eveyone to check them out. They are also reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back and try more of their treats.
