We then had chicken pad Thai and pineapple fried rice with chicken. The chicken was very tough and hard to chew up. The Pad Thai tased more like noodles in syrup. There was no spice at all. I asked for chili oil and got what I think was soy sauce ? I don’t know it did not really have a flavor and was not hot at all. I will give them the benefit of doubt on the service as they did have a help wanted sign. We are not picky, so please take that into consideration if you plan on eating here. Stomach was upset for two hours after eating there and we only had water with out meal.
An excellent place to dine at for fresh and tasty Thai food, right in St.Albans. Definitely worth a stop if you're into authentic Thai cuisine. I had the Basil Duck with a bowl of Tom Yum and it was amazing. The staff are very friendly too.
Food is so fresh and delicious! When we have guests from out of state this is the first place they want to eat. The owners are so sweet and super friendly. It is our favorite restaurant. We have always had the best meal here. The food is exquisite and always served hot. Pair it with a bottle of wine or beer you brought from home and your dining experience is 2nd to none!
Avoid at all costs. Hands down the worst Thai food I have ever tasted. Service was lacking, food was flavorless and cold and the kitchen smelled like dirty socks. We paid for everything and I even left a 15% tip due to the nicer older lady there. It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review but I have to say this place is definitely not worth your time or money. Hopefully they will improve quality and cleanliness. We had the spring roll appetizer first. It was over cooked in old oil, although they were served hot. Flavor was non existent.
Food wasn't good. The Pad Thai had some odd flavors and there was a weird smell floating around. Maybe some bad seafood? It was hard to tell what it was.
I've been going to Thai House since the day it opened, back when it was on Lake Street. It's BYOB. Plenty of options and the chef will spice your dish up or down according to taste. Drunken Noodles are my favorite. Curries are all great. Even the noodle bowls are fantastic. Staff are friendly and make you feel welcome.
